Visa Waiver Program Travelers Must Register for ESTA
On January 19, 2010, United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that it would begin a 60-day transition to enforced ESTA compliance for Visa Waiver Program (VWP) Travelers beginning January 20, 2010.
VWP travelers must be approved by the ESTA online travel authorization system prior to travel or they may not be allowed to board a U.S. bound plane.
