Attorney Vishal Chander Recognized by Human Rights Initiative Pro Bono Spotlight

DALLAS, TEXAS — Vishal Chander, Managing Attorney of The Chander Law Firm, was recognized in the Pro Bono Spotlight section of the Fall 2006 Human Right Initiative (HRI) newsletter. HRI is a nonprofit social services agency providing assistance to refugees and immigrants who have suffered human rights abuses. Each quarter HRI publishes a newsletter containing a section called “HRI’s Pro Bono Spotlight,” in which HRI reatures one outstanding volunteer attorney. Mr. Chander was selected because of his involvement. The Chander Law Firm was also a top ten pro bono service provider during the fiscal year. In the article, one of Mr. Chander’s pro bono clients thanked HRI for providing her a pro bono attorney “of the highest caliber.”
