DALLAS, TEXAS — On May 12, 2010, Vishal Chander, Managing Attorney of The Chander Law Firm, presented the second of a four-part lecture series on Immigration Law to the Dallas Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA). The presentation was entitled “Immigration Options for Business Owners.” During this session, Mr. Chander discussed immigration options for owners and executives of businesses operating in the United States. Mr. Chander discussed the organization of new businesses and investments in the United States. Mr. Chander then discussed various immigration mechanisms for owners of businesses in the United States to acquire immigration status, including visas for investors (E-2), Traders (E-1), Executives and Managers (L-1 and O) and green cards for multinational executives & managers (EB-1) and employment creation/investors (EB-5). The event was well attended. Mr. Chander will continue providing lectures to the RHCA over the next several months. The topics and schedule for the series are:
