Vishal Chander Opening Keynote Speaker for Second Annual Asian Pacific American Empowerment Conference (APEAC2)

DENTON, TEXAS — On November 17, 2006, Vishal Chander, Managing Attorney of The Chander Law Firm, provided the opening keynote speech for the Second Annual Asian Pacific American Empowerment Conference at the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas. The conference was coordinated by the UNT Asian American Student Association. The conference theme was “Breaking Down Barriers — Achieving Purpose Beyond Academia.” Mr. Chander spoke on the meaning of the Asian American movement, coalition building, engagement, social consciousness, and social change.
