This means that there are fewer than 32,800 cap-subject H-1B visas remaining for fiscal year 2012. The announcement also indicated that 16,700 Master’s cap H-1B petitions had been filed. The number of applications means that only 3,300 Master’s cap H-1B visa numbers remain available for fiscal year 2012.
